The first day, Monday, the 9th of May 2016 debuted with a welcoming speech given by the local authorities and a representative of the Inspectorate of Calarasi county. All the teams presented themselves and received the schedule with activities for the whole week. On the 9th of May, it is celebrated Europe's Day, so all the partners marked this wonderful event by performing different cultural and artistic moments. Then, the guests visited the church and Gymnasium No.1 Perisoru School.
After lunch, the
Bulgarian and Greek team presented their CLIL lessons which consisted in “New
technologies in pharmacy and transport”.
The day ended with an amazing welcome dinner,
when everybody – students and teachers socialised.
On Tuesday, 10th of May, at 9:30 we
set off for a study visit to Murfatlar vineyards and cellar. The guide taught
us a lesson about viticulture and informed us about the history of Murfatlar. There
were presented to us different sorts of wine, machines which prepare the wine
and barrels to deposit it. We also visited a small museum of the cellar. All
students received a brochure and a hand out to fill it in, using the pieces of
information they acquired during the study visit.

At
the end of the day, the Romanian team relaxed the atmosphere, challenging all
the students (guests) to play some games in the gym classroom.
The 4th day of the mobility started at 6:30 in the
morning when we set off to a study visit concerning the tourism, in Bran. On
Thursday we had a wonderful experience, because we went to Bran, and we visited
BRAN CASTLE, (DRACULA’S CASTLE). There the guide told us the story of the
castle, gave us information about Vlad Țepes (Vlad the Impaler) and how he
liked to impale his enemies.
After
we visited the castle, we went to Bran Mansion – a commercial complex, with
restaurants, motels, an amazing large garden with flowers, green grass, a mini
zoo and little houses inspired from fairy tales – where we got information
about the tourism in Romania.
Then,
we went to the Rașnov Citadel, and the guide told us all about its structure,
design, setting and history. We acquired a lot of information and great
memories that day, which we’ll never forget.
Friday
morning, we went to school with our
guests. At 10 o’clock the activity started
in the informatics lab - the Romanian team performed the CLIL lesson -
„Cultivation of cereals and industrial machines„- when students were involved
in different activities, as: guessing some cereals (seeds)- they had samples,
playing Kahoot games, making posters. After
the lesson the Greek team left Romania and the other teams went for a visit to
a vegetable farm, close to our village
where we saw how vegetables are planted, grown, gathered and deposited -
vegetables like onion, carrots. After lunch, we went to school where students
had activities (they played volleyball and handball) and teachers had a
meeting. Then all the students and teachers completed the evaluation documents
(CLIL lessons and Romanian mobility).
After
these activities we went home and got ready for the farewell dinner, a unique
and special event for all of us.
